2005:

The patient had a tooth colored filling placed in the 1980's and it changed color over the years.  It was recommended that he whiten his teeth prior to placing a porcelain veneer on the single front tooth, as once the veneer is seated, it won't change color.  It's best to lighten the teeth and then match to the lighter shade.

 

 

April 2009 :

This is the patient four years after whitening his teeth and having a single porcelain veneer.
